Naomi Gardener wasn't your average 12 years old girl living in Portland, Oregon. She is an only child living with her Mom and stepdad and on the outside things seem normal, but that can be far from the truth.
When Naomi was a baby her actual father left her and her mother which neither know why assuming Naomi was a mistake. Due to this, her mother fell down the drinking hole and when Naomi was 5 her mother re-married a scientist named Theodore...and lets just say he's not a very good man.
Soon after they got married, bad things started to happen and that's when the abuse began...it started slow with whisper shouting, slamming doors and then shouting at an alarming rate and throwing and hitting each other...
It got too much to the point that not only could she not sleep and always cry herself to sleep, but at age 8 Naomi began to self-harm in order to take all that pain...but it didn't just end there...the abuse only got worse...due to Naomi's mom's drinking problem she would be passed out to avoid it...so her stepfather went on to abuse Naomi...
But that's not the worst of it...because he's also a scientist he took up a project called 'Animal Hybriding' where he wanted to see if humans could evolve by hybriding them with animals and he used poor little Naomi as a test subject...as the guinea pig and lab rat and Naomi couldn't say no fearing she'll only get hurt more...but nothing hurts more than being used as an experiment...
He would drug her, strap her to a table, abuse her more, attach her to a bunch of wires and machines, and inject her with so many chemicals...She's in so much pain for weeks that she can't even get out of bed let alone move and he would record it all and send it to his co-workers and boss who praise him...
So what happens after Theodore is finished with his experiment? Does he succeed? What happens to Naomi? Does the FBI ever save her in time?
