Meredith Grey has just moved to Seattle, to care for her sick Mother, just weeks before she is due to start her internship at Seattle Grace Hospital. The night after she moved there with her bestfriend, Cristina Yang, she met a man at a bar. The relationship grows over the next few weeks, until he has to leave a week before she starts work. The next time she sees him is the day she starts work. The man she fell in love with just happens to be the new head of Neuro, Derek Shepherd. How will their relationship continue or will it break with the stress of her peers and their resident.
Both Owen Hunt and Preston Burke will be in the story from the start.
