The purpose is to govern elements and their forces. Last, but not least comes the element of lightning, the protector of the realm and keeper of the balance. And after countries get revived from the Asylum by a mysterious cure the majority of the time they gain a physical feature such as wings, or maybe another animal characteristic. On rare cases, there can be magical abilities gained that outweigh any sort of supernatural physicality. But Canada wasn't too lucky, and just got a pair of large wings. To hide the past from other countries, Britain does everything he can to keep the knowledge of them away from everyone, even if it causes loads of pain on his son's body. In this story each countryhuman has a stone with their flag on it. It's one of the most precious things to them because of their stone get damaged or put in the wrong hands bad things can happen. If another country gets a hold of it, the countryhuman that the stone originally belonged to gets chainlocked. Meaning that the country who got their stone has complete control of them, and to show it physically a thick metal bracelet is placed around one of their wrists. ⚠️Also no warnings on ships, so be prepared for anything. Although on this planet, they didn't call them by that. The kingdom of the fire elementals was the Flamma kingdom. The kingdom of the water elementals was the Mare kingdom. The kingdom of the air elementals was the Aura kingdom. And finally, the kingdom of the earth elementals was the Terra kingdom. The kingdoms were separated intentionally for the purpose that other elementals couldn't have any interaction with each other.
