In hindsight, he should have known that this was to be his last campaign if the several million casualties were anything to go by. The Teutonische Stahlkorps 713th Panzerregiment was just one of a dozen formations that would need to be completely recreated.

Aurick's musings were interrupted when he let out a silent scream of agony as something on the inside of his body gave way and pierced his heart. As his vision began to darken, a faint sound that seemed like a mix between a deep hum and a low Teutonisch choir reached his ruptured eardrums. Aurick craned his head to the brightening portal, its comforting light overpowering the approaching darkness.
