Nuada was defeated and Hellboy had taken away the crown, Abe was about to check on Nuala, but that's  when everyone saw the young prince getting back up, pulling out a dagger and ready to stab HB. 
Abe had just noticed Nuala with an identical object, ready to stab herself instead in an attempt to stop her brother.

And that's when time seem to stop.

Nuada was about to charge at Hellboy, who had lost his composer for only a few minutes, but it would have given enough time for him to strike his opponent.

You didn't need anyone else. Then a strange boy swoops in (literally) saving you. Who was he? Why was he so persistent? What does he see in you that you don't see in yourself?
