Sonic attempts to battle Dr. Robotnik again, but Robotnik tries to use the Chaos Emeralds to kill him sending the both (as well as Knuckles) to Paris where Sonic and Knuckles were forced to seek refuge with Marinette and Adrien respectively  after causing so much trouble for Paris. 
when they learn that Dr Eggman has teamed up with Hawk Month to find the Chaos Emeralds for world domination, Sonic and Knuckles must team with their new friends who also turned out to be superheros, ladybug and chat noir, to find the chaos emeralds before the bad guys do.
