~~My whole reason of being here is because of my high marks. It wasn't my choice to go to the Academy but I went because I was told that I was "gifted." The cities are categorized as societies: Alibon, Baron, Catalyst, and Darin. I live in Catalyst. Now you see the reason of this Academy is so I can find out what my so called "gift" is. Sounds cool right? Wrong. There are sometimes cases where people have too much power and they can't learn to control it. I don't know what happens after because the Segregation never tells us, and I can't help but feel that they are hiding something from us.   There are different gifts that people possess; destruction, illusion, alteration, restoration, and conjuration. Which one of those do I possess you may ask, the answer is unknown to me or the Segregation. There is only one thing that comes between me, the Segregation, and my class marks... A boy, I seem to have fallen for; his name is Jessie Ember. I start to feel things for him and I don't understand why. He is supposed to be the "tough guy" but yet when I'm around him I see other sides. But there is also one thing that comes in-between him and I, and her name is summed up in two words; Monica Star. Few heroes went into hiding to 'play normal'; like my family and I. I live in New Haven City. I've been lucky enough that I don't have powers that attract too much attention --- Everything was going great. Everything was normal. Until Jamie was forced to confront the reality of her situation. The mayor who has been running the NSA was beginning to take drastic measures. Sending many supers off to another island. Stealing their powers. Forcing others to betray their own kind. The victims of these horrific acts are not taking that lightly. Why not make a team of heroes? A team that doesnt give a shit what the NSA or the Mayor has to say. A team of young teens who probably don't even listen to each other. That will save the world...

Now, not only does he have to deal with school, his almost non existent social life and his aggravating younger brother, but he also has to fight super villains and learn to control his new found powers to avoid blowing his cover to the world...and it is a lot harder than he anticipated. Prepare for a roller coaster ride of lame one liners and painfully awkward adolescent behaviour, along with bromances and romances, breakups and make ups, and even some cliché superhero behaviour, villains who hold a grudge, and really dorky super suits. Oh... and angry, rampaging squirrels.

Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. No one will believe it was me who disappeared into a fence and appeared on the other side of school. I stare at my brother. He made eye contact with me, confirming my suspicions. We both saw it.
