Princess Peach receives a strange dream about a horrific evil threat rising back from the dead for revenge on the Mushroom Kingdom after several years of their defeat by the kingdom's widely known superstar plumbers, Super Mario and Super Luigi. 

With a new prophecy among them, Mario and Luigi, along with several other soon to be discovered allies are chosen to put a stop to the villain's sinister plan of domination and destruction with their soon profound magic.

But things get difficult when Mario's greatest and long time arch-nemesis, King Koopa, Bowser, arrives and raids the Mushroom Kingdom with his wicked army of soilders. And when a simple young traveler with no magic skill of any kind is dragged into this large mess. 

It is only the start of a new adventure once more for our heroes, but will they over pass these tough obstacles? Just what lies ahead for our heroes this time?
