Thats all it took for Zaria's life to shatter before her eyes.
Zaria moves to Harmony, Rhode Island with her brother Tyler to live with her cousin, aunt, and uncle after all her past legal guardians die. Her cousin Natalie being the queen bee at her school and what's left of her so called family hating her, Zaria is pretty sure her life at school will be horrible.
On her first day of school, she manages to get detention, get kicked out of class, find a mortal enemy, and still make it in time to her job and back home to make dinner for her brother. But with a past a horrible as Zaria's, can she finally start fresh or will she always be haunted by the memory surrounded by blood and death for the rest of her life?
