“I’m in love with you Tavon.” Before he could react I leaned forward and kissed him. It was only a brief kiss, but it set my body aflame. I pulled away and looked in his eyes. He just stood there staring at me emotionless. I frowned. “Tavon.” He didn’t answer. Hell he didn’t even move. “Say something Tavon.” Silence. I reached for him but he grabbed my wrist and pushed it away from him. The rejection cut deep. Fresh tears began to flow down my face. “Tavon I…” he held up his hand and I immediately stopped talking. He turned and walked to the door, but before he walked out he turned and looked at me. “Goodbye Tyler.” The door shut silently behind him. I dropped to my knees.
