Rey has just defeated palpatine. She knew her time was about to be up. She felt weak, powerless. Now that Ben was gone, there was nothing left for her. So she let go. She released her soul.
Ben crawled up from the huge hole in the ground that palpatine pushed him into, trying to End his life. He looked up and saw Rey laying on the floor. Not moving. Not breathing. In a panic, he limped his way over to her and held on to her. He used every bit of power he had left to bring her back, hoping she will live a better life now that the first order is gone forever. He gently placed his hand on her lifeless body and let the last bit of life he had In himself go into Reys body. She awoke from death. She looked right into bens eyes and smiled.
"Ben?" She whispered as she caressed his face.
Ben smiles at her, looks deep into her eyes, and they kiss. Once they pulled away, Ben gives Rey one last smile, before his soul leaves his body and vanished forever.
He didn't die as Kylo Ren. He died as Ben Solo.

Based on Star Wars ep. VII: The Force Awakens. "You... you're afraid." I say looking back at him defyingly. "That you'll never be as strong as Darth Vader." I say his hand moving away from me instantly and he takes a step back finally my body gets released from his hold. I notice the expression from his face breaking completely, he is confused even rattled. I breathe heavily and keep staring back at him proud of myself as he picks up his mask and exits the room leaving me tied up to the interrogation chair. How was I able to do all of that? ------ This book is part 1 of my rewrite series. I figured that if If I wanted to rewrite TLJ and TROS the only correct way would be by also doing TFA so here is that. Also, this book is going to be very similar to the movie to a point where it is almost identical but since it's written with different points of views we get to know more about the characters and where they come from. It is very canon compliant especially when talking about the different character backstories. That being said, this doesn't mean that the next two books are going to be the exact same as the movies I want to take the other books in a completely different way. They might still have similarities to the movies but not that many. ------ **I do not own any of the characters in the Star Wars Saga all credits to that go to Lucas Films.**Complete

"I wanted to join you," Rey said, tears dripping from her face. "Then why didn't you?" Menace crept from Kylo Ren's voice as he turned to make deathly eye contact with her. "You know why!" "Enlighten me," he threatened, though it sounded like a plea. "It wasn't our time, Ben, you know that." Rey's voice shook a little. "When is our time?" Kylo's voice became lighter. "You already know the answer to that," she sniffled. *** The Force knew Rey was to be in Kylo Ren's life just as Kylo was to be in Rey's. However, both individuals prayed and hoped for very different outcomes. Rey wanted nothing more than to bring Kylo Ren back to the Light. She wanted to show him the wonders it provided and the life they could have if he returned to her. Kylo wanted to bring her to the Dark Side. He wanted to rule with his bride by his side. Without hesitation, Kylo knelt on one knee and began to take of his mask. A quick hiss came from a mechanism on his helmet as he slowly peeled it off to reveal his face. I was stunned. He had black shoulder length hair, dark hazel eyes that stared into my soul, the body of man well trained, and a strong nose. I was expecting a literal monster to appear before me. I had judged him too soon, his looks might have been appealing but his aura was as black as they come. He spoke firmly with intrigue in his eye; "Princess Sylvari Alvaross of the Royal Light Bloodline I have come to claim what is mine by destiny, you." I rose from my bed and walked straight up to him at the edge of my force field. "I am owned by no one," I huffed. With an evil chuckle he stood up; "My name is Kylo Ren, Master of the Knights of Ren, and Commander of The First Order," He said proudly. "Kylo...Ren. Finally, a name for the monster that plagued my visions," I thought internally. "Whatever power you think you have to stop me with, princess, I will break through and by the end of today I will have you in my grasp." He said confidently. "We've passed on all we know. A thousand generations live in you now, but this is your fight." A familiar voice, Luke's, whispers. Luke Skywalker stands net to R2-D2 the sky around him burns shades of orange, yellow and red and behind him a Jedi temple burns. Kylo feels his father's hand upon his face the watched as his father falls into the abyss. "Your journey nears its end." A sinister voice now whispers, and a flash of blue light reveals a fleet of Imperial Star Destroyers filling the vastness of space as blue fire leaps between them. A powerful red laser of an unseen weapon obliterates the surface of a planet. Shrieks, whispers and screams and then the sound of a lightsaber igniting. A fiery red saber but behind that saber is Rey, her hand twitches and the saber becomes a double-pronged staff. A maniacal evil laugh cackles. Kylo woke with a start and sat upright on his bed. Written after the first trailer dropped and finished before the film was released. Contains references to previous films, novelisations and comics. Then Rey felt herself fall into a deep, un-peaceful, and dark sleep. Kylo Ren slowly glided away from her unconscious form. A tear, although invisible from the rest of the universe underneath his mask, fell down his cheek. Kylo Ren left the scene of the massacre, where he had just murdered dozens of former fellow Jedi padawans, at the academy his uncle had established. He didn't look back, for he knew that if he did, he would totally break...he would be torn apart. Please note that this story STARTS in the time while Kylo Ren/Ben is at the Jedi Academy and that this story was written directly after The Force Awakens!
