Everything is not what it seems. In the small town of Maplewood, even the littlest things are taken for granted. Angel is your average 17 year old who knew from a young age he was gay, and also knew being gay was not the norm in Maplewood, nor his high school, Maplewood High. Growing up Angel was always alone, his mother left him and his two older brothers with their father after their divorce at only 1 years old, he could never recall a mother's warm embrace, only a father's cold hate. Coming out to his father might be his only regret, who he thought would accept who he truly was only turns him away and scorns him, his brothers were his only saving grace. Loneliness exceeded the bounds of just home but to school, he couldn't take torment from his home life let alone the entire Town's youth. His need for complete solidarity suddenly changes when three groups of "New Kids" take a liking to him. With each group a different intentions for Angel, relations and mysteries begin to stir in Angel's life, will he be able to handle the challenges and heartbreak that come with new found friends....
