Amaryllis and Luca are Nomads, orphaned by their Natural parents who had been murdered. Amaryllis has no desire to join a tribe, but Luca does. When they do finally join, they're separated: Amaryllis to the Royals, Luca to one of the Three Evils: the demon.
While the Royals are training, they capture a Demon Dragon and get wind of their plans to take over the dragon world. Amaryllis is sent on a quest to find the legendary Powerists, the most powerful dragons in the land. Amaryllis was told bedtime stories when she was little about these dragons; they're not real.
