On the island of Fennbirn every generation three triplets are born, all equal heirs to the throne and all possessing the same onyx black hair and eyes. It has always been this way, until a legion cursed usurper, Jules, tried to discard the Goddess' will and assume power but she was quickly struck down after the Queens War and so Queen Arsinoe was called upon to rule after the legion usurper, Mirabella Mistbane and Katharine, the Undead, all perished - leaving only one real option, the last of the scared queensline. Some even preached that all the blood spilt was the Goddess' will to ensure the rise of Arsinoe the White Handed.
Arsinoe herself bore three triplets. A poisoner. A naturalist. And a warrior, Halia. For Arsinoe's triplets, the Goddess rested, letting the cycle play out naturally; waiting like a spider in the dark, until a new queen came along - a special one, one she could use. This is the new generation of triplets. Queen Halia's triplets.
ARWEN, who possesses the incredible rare gift of shadow, is known to bend anyone to her will and control darkness itself.
NALANI, an elemental, can produce wild infernos of fire and is said to be as fierce as a storm.
CARINA, a poisoner, is rumoured to be immune to the deadliest of venom and has a giant viper always guarding her.
To become Queen Crowned they will fight to the death but with the treachery and plots increasing on the island, the new queens may have more to fear than each other.

This is a three dark crowns fanfic. Shoutout to Kendare Blake for writing such an amazing book with Three Dark Crowns. I first published this fanfic three years ago but personal stuff happened. But now I am republishing it and starting again, hope everyone (old readers and new) enjoy this.
