Khaalida and Ashlyn are werecats, they have panthers instead of wolves. Quite simple actually, aside from the complications that follow.

Ashlyn could've had a relatively safe life, that is if she had choose to remain in her clan when Khaalida was exiled. But no, the sisters shared a strong bond and where Khaalida went as did Ashlyn.

The reason Khaalida was exiled was due to the fact her panther held extra strength. She was an albino panther. Prior to Khaalida's shift the last albino shifter had been killed and set in display in a hunters base. So she was the main attraction, and several attacks on her pack determined her fate and she was outcasted.

He finds her, and because of her dormant wolf, he thinks she's human. Soon she goes missing, because her pack members sold her to a rogue pack. Alex searches, and searches, but cannot find her. Her wolf has to completely go dormant, because it's just causing her pain and she would died of she didn't. Alex thinks that she's dead, because he felt the connection between them break. He finds another girl to be his mate, and when Ashleigh is found, she is heartbroken. Not only was it her pack that made her suffer through all that because they sold her, but her mate had given up on her because her wolf had to go into dormancy. She falls into severe depression, and develops a form of PTSD, that was formed from the shock she had from her pack and mate's betrayal. She isn't happy anymore, and that brightness she had in her personality is gone, leaving a husk of her former self. Will her pack and mate right their terrible wrongs, and bring her back to her former glory, or will they carry on with how they are, and have her fall into a comatose like state?
