When Arianna McDale was going through high school, she accepted the fact that no one would notice her. She came to terms with it. I was surprising that her best friend stayed with her, having the flair for attention. But he did. Passing classes with A's and never going to parties seemed okay. She marched flute in the high school band and never really supported anything. Her life was school, music, work, sleep, repeat.

Tristan Wayne was the friendliest person she could've ever met. He was in theatre, liked by most everyone, and for three years, they passed each other without noticing each other. He wanted to get to know her and she wondered why he bothered.
