After facing countless defeats at the hand of his arch nemesis, Doctor Eggman escapes what would've been a life of imprisonment and formulates a brand new scheme to reign over Mobius. And with him, is a brand new ally who posseses a gemstone of mysterious power. 

With this new dynamic duo brewing unbeknownst to Sonic, Eggman launches an all out assault on the planet and quickly claims his biggest victory to date. But once his control on the planet slips out of his hands, Eggman must turn to a brand new, never before seen villain, one that is fused with a gemstone whose power rivals even that of the Chaos Emeralds. His powers, his abilities...are infinite.

They have to live mundane lives during their time there. Some get jobs in order to blend in and earn their keep. Little do they know a certain egg themed villain is attempting to find this world to conquer as well as defeat the heros hiding in plain sight. Will they stop him without being captured by the villains of this world? Or will the villain rise to the top, rendering the heros useless? Eventual Sonadow, Rougeknux, Blazeamy, and Mephilver. 16+ there are adult themes and topics in this book not suitable for minors, nothing explicit, which is why I put 16+ rather than 18+. Eggman planed to use the Phantom Ruby to banish Sonic and his friends to another dimension, making sure they stay there and never return. After a long fight with Metal Sonic, as both he and Metal became super, Sonic was defeated but Eggman pulled the Chaos Emeralds from Sonic and Metal Sonic before the robot hedgehog could deliver the final blow. Eggman disowned Metal and called him useless before firing the cannon. But Metal chose to take the Chaos Emeralds when the portal became unstable and turned into a black hole. While grabbing the Ruby, Metal Sonic sacrificed himself to save the world, making everyone believe him to be gone... However, they did not know that he was sent to an alternate dimension, where he would begin his new life becoming a hero in the SMG4 universe, proving he will be a better hero than Sonic.
