Nikki Summers has never stayed in one place more than a few months. Ever since she was little, she and her mom have lived in town after town, transferring to more cities than Nikki could count. After a while, she gave up trying to make friends, to participate much - it wasn't worth it. She just existed, just passed through, counting down the days until she'd get to go to college and make a real life for herself. So when she starts school in little Hallowwood Virginia, she isn't really expecting much. But as it turns out, fate may have other plans.
