Once upon a time, two races ruled over the Earth: Humans and Monsters. One day, war broke out between the two races. After a long battle, the humans were victorious. They sealed the monsters underground with a magic spell. The humans' fear of monsters was based mainly on the monsters' ability to absorb human SOULS. Trapped underground, the monsters explored their new environment and slowly set up a kingdom there and society
In the year 201X a human child called Chara fell into the Underground. How did she fell there ? What's gonna happen to her ? This is a story about her route.
This story should have 4 parts / 4 arcs, maybe 5 but the last one will be probably called as bonus part.
The story of my au is fanfiction based on game called Undertale, made by amazing Toby Fox.
To all Undertale fans, this universe has entirely new logic for souls. Save and Load does exist in this universe along with reset, but not like you're used to see Frisk or Chara with these abilities. Be patient please and try to understand, because in this AU is most of things different :)

(I DON'T OWN UNDERTALE. The only characters I own are Bailey and Creame.) All the monsters live happily in the underground: until one human ruins everything. Bailey Hill is a normal, 11 year old girl- until she trips, and falls into Mt.Ebott. Quick to befriend the monsters, Bailey is instantly loved by everyone. When monsters start mysteriously disappearing, Bailey is on the case. What she doesn't know, though, is that a small team, co-led by Undyne and Sans, are working as secret spies in the background. After hearing about the disappearances, Bailey thinks she can solve the mystery- but when Bailey has a shocking realization, she realizes that she might not be so innocent after all. ------------------------------------------- Changes: IMPORTANT: Frisk and Chara don't and never exist(ed) Monsters don't mind the underground, so Alphys never did the experiments. Still Relevant: Mettaton never left, and Napstablook is constantly being featured on his show The amalgamates don't exist since those monsters never fell down. Napstablook and Shyren are now younger than in-game, Napstablook - 12 and Shyren - 14. More on Napstablook- Since Mettaton never left, Napstablook is just shy. Undertale; Despair AU 《REWRITE》
What if there was an anomaly in the Underground? No, not Frisk. Not Chara either. Someone else entirely. How could a few measly children stand to this supposedly immortal foe and save the Underground from destruction? Is it even possible to do so? Only one way to tell... ~o0o~ Disclaimers before you start! •There is NO fanon ships. That means no Soriel, Papyton, etc. The only ships are Torgore (in the past) and Alphyne. •This is NOT an x reader. I dislike those types of stories. The reader will have no part in this, and they will not be shipped with anyone. •This exists outside of canon to an extreme. For example, Frisk is the second human and not the eighth. •There will be OCs, but only for a few humans and they still technically exist in normal Undertale. •There is a sequel. I'm planning on rewriting it after this one, as it is much more random and definitely needs it. Clanky, plot holes/retconning, etc. It's more of an OC thing, to explore them and their issues, than an Undertale thing, but it has its similarities. •There will be some explicitives. It won't be unnecessary or excessive, only when it fits the situation and character. I will not be using any slurs, as that's just plain disrespectful, even if some of them apply to me. Credits: Undertale, obviously, created by Toby Fox and Temmie Chang. "The Time Before" by ANinnyMouse42 is the backstory for Sans in this AU with some adjustments (mainly since that was very close to my original idea before I read it and I don't want people to think I copied their masterpiece or smth, if you haven't read it please do so, it's really good). Some things will be in reference to the other books in the trilogy or "From War to Science" by Emotistic-optimistic. If you haven't, read that too. It's really good (along with its sequel). Was this truly the last RESET? Sans wondered. But he knew only Frisk would tell, only this young girl would decide his future. He hated the thought of it at first, but hatred began to grow numb after he figured out he had no say in his own future. He had to admit though, Frisk was pretty reasonable, it was Chara who was the maniac. But she was gone now, so what was the anticipating, eerie, feeling that he had in his bones? The feeling that something wasn't right, of course, this timeline was already incredibly strange. The feeling sat in his in the pit of his stomach, tying itself into knots, until that fateful rainy day when all of his questions would be answered. So basically, this is a fanfiction of a fancomic of the game Undertale. Look, I'm gonna admit, I'm little stuck in the Undertale fandom, so this is my of slowly crawling out of it. Anywho, I strongly suggest you read the fancomic which this fanfiction is based off of, DeeperDown, before reading my story. Soon after that, Chara joins a new family, but their ambition to keep everyone happy goes a little overboard and Chara is flung into a reality of destruction and hopeless wonder. Then many long years later they meet the beloved Frisk, who fell into the Underground, similar to themselves. This society would gradually be challenged by the Solar Warriors, a rebellion that directly opposed his rule, sparked by tensions risen by the difference between SANS's mundane autocracy and his father GASTER II's militaristic dictatorship. {NOTICE: Please be mindful that this take contains visceral descriptions of violence & gore, domestic violence, and child abuse.} However, all of this would skyrocket thanks to the sudden introduction of one human child named Chara to the monster society. This would all culminate in one human's intrusion into the world of monsterkind known only by their stage name Shifty. Chara must now overcome her own deep-rooted demons and evade the ruthless Solar Warriors in order to become the western hero she always imagined herself as, protecting both her loved ones and the broader monster kingdom from the tyranny that METTA has rebirthed to bestow. Remaster on my page - check it out! Sans has had an interesting past. A past that even his beloved brother barely even knows of. A past that he wishes could remain a secret. Book 2 of The Fallen Ones Series (An undertale story) 100 years in the underground and finally the monsters has breached the barrier and arrived to the surface and by the help of Frisk Dreemurr she used the 6 human souls and reviving the monster legacy. Although humanity is still the same even after hundreds of years evolving from swords and spears to guns and nuclear weapons, but some accepted the Monster kind and many were against it. The monsters needed homes and by the hand of Jessalyn Knox the director of the phoenix order and Princess of Paradise she lended her strengths to the Monster kind for food, jobs, and homes. 2 and a half years on the surface and yet.. people are yet to ruin the monsters freedom..
