Scarlett always understood that being a princess came with a world of obligations. She also understood that her kingdom meant everything and that she should never do anything that would disrespect her title. So when her father, King of Avalan, demanded that she got married for the sake of maintaining alliances, she did exactly what any good princess would do. She ran away.

Scarlett Edwards was the prominent princess of Avalon, she was a picture-perfect princess. To the world, she had it all, she was beautiful, well-educated, and knew her way around weapons just fine. Although she was strong-headed and well-independent, she spent most of her days behind the castle's wall.
Scarlett longed for freedom more than anything in the world, but when her father informed her that she was soon to be wed for alliance purposes. She was furious and refused to be wed at such a young age. Her only option was to run away, and she did. She ran and unknowingly boarded an infamous pirate ship, whose charming captain offered her salvation.
With the man whom she was to marry hot on her tail, Scarlett was in for a whirlwind of adventure, betrayal, and a blooming romance.
