Between the Trees

Two boys divided by two worlds, but one mistake is all it took to change it all.

River never intended to fall through the tear in the atmosphere; he was to wait ever-so patiently for his mother as he'd been doing all these years, but his reality morphed after his curiosity tempted him to touch the wave for a second time. He finds himself in an unfamiliar forest, Frantically tripping over himself in the midst of his panic, he falls head-first into a gorgeous boy he'd never seen before, who would then create a world unlike any other alongside him.
