This LGBTQ+ story takes place in the 1890s. It handles topics about family trauma, the death of a loved one, manipulation, homophobia/slurs, and long-distance romance, but it also tells us about values, symbolism, friendship, and romance.
This story, which started as a short story to pass the time while I procrastinate, has become something greater than what I expected, but I have found the motivation to see it through as a fully-fledged novel. I hope this romantic story gives you just as much joy as it brought me when writing it.
