This story follows Sadie, who is a seventeen-year-old girl who is creative, but not good at expression through words. Her worst fear is becoming vulnerable, but does it affect those who are close to her? Specifically her boyfriend, who she has known for so long. It's a short story about a break up...? (Or is it?)
***Author's Note***
First of all, I apologize for the info-dumpy prologue. I just wanted to write it to give some context, but I know there were better ways to execute what I was to do. Oh well, I'm just leaving it in the story because I personally like it. (Don't hate me lol)
THIS STORY IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE GOOD LITERATURE. (Don't come after me please >3<)
Also this is my first attempt at a short story I did for my 9th grade Creative Writing class. It may not be good, but I attempted. The assignment was that we had to write a story based off a picture, and my picture was a smiling coffee on top of a white table cloth, with a blue plant pattern on it. (Just like what was described in the short story.)
This story took me about three hours to plan, and three to write. (I scrapped an entire character in the process.)
I'm sorry if some things confuse you, I was tried my best. (I got an 100 though, so I'm happy.)
(Also sorry for any typos my teacher didn't catch.)

(Not finished, never will finish it. Funny to say, I wrote this back in my first year of high school for, honestly, shits and giggle but it blew up???? Idk... but I kinda just lost the original plot so it's all over the place, grammar doesn't make sense, nothing in this fucking book makes sense. So my apologies for the dear people whom have read this. I apologize for it being the way it is and how my mind just simply fucked it all up. I thought I could personally make my way up to the top and be so damn happy with it, yet looking back at my 14/15 year old self, it simply was a rich feeling that I was on top; to be honest, I felt like I was best out of all. Looking back and maturing A LOT, I don't feel or think that way. I understand we all have different writing skills or grammar; but that is simply just not in my case. I wrote this out of being greedy and thinking I simply wanted everyone to like it but turns out; even the painter hates its awful paintings. So you may read it if you would like, or don't. Just... idk, thinking about simply deleting it.) [But what I wanted to say is sorry. Sorry for breaking the many promises and wishes of the book to even made it this far.. younger me would have made it true yet knowing the older me wouldn't have.] (Y/N) had a one night-stand the night before her new job at Freddy's Pizzeria. *Completed* "I just want to know why." I say as I turn over, trying to find his figure through the dark of my room. "Why what?" He asks. "Why you're being so nice to me." I say quietly, vulnerability seeping into my words. "How we even became friends." He sighs, "I want to know how." I scrunch my brow. "How what?" His response is soft, the opposite of his sarcastic personality. "How you don't see it." ******* Reagan Holt was about as average as a high school student could be. I woke up this morning completely prepared for the day, right then and there I knew that the day was going to be strange. I never woke up screaming good morning to the world, I was a person who woke up looking like a hobo wanting to punch a wall. I got dressed up for some reason. I think it was mostly influenced by being the only matching clothes I had washed. I threw on some makeup and headed out the door. This is Rylie, she's a sarcastic "bad girl". Typical teenager, she's into her screaming music and she's a social little butterfly. Her life is suddenly flipped around when a new neighbor comes to town. He's a good looking wannabe bad boy, she slowly wraps him around to the dark side. He starts to make an impression on her, what will happen? The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?" I ask, swinging my feel a little. He shakes his head shyly, his mouth not moving at all. Geez! Why do I want to hear this dude talk so much? "Okay, that's fine. I can give you a nickname." I offer happily. He looks up from his book, raising his eyebrows. I just stare for a moment. He has nice eyes. Pretty brown chocolate orbs. They remind me so much of....... "Teddy." He shakes his head immediately, frowning. "What, why not? You remind me of my old teddy bear. He was a good listener and he didn't talk much..... just like you." I say softly, tilting my head. He continues to shake his head. I fold my arms, leaning back in my seat. "Yeah, it's definitely sticking. Teddy.....It has a nice ring to it, yeah?" He sighs, the first sound I have ever heard him make. "No." . . . *Jordan* Teddy!? Seriously!? She gave me a fucking NICKNAME!? What the hell does this girl want!? I stuff my hands into my pockets, walking down the busy street. Forget about her. She's just a annoying pretty girl, she'll go away. Everybody does. She HAS to go away. *Spoiler alert*: she doesn't.
