Emma van der Woodsen is just a regular 21 year old college student, but she is also known as a talented cellist in New York. Well-- she's just talented at everything she touches. Everyone thinks she's perfect and beautiful in and out. Perfect family, perfect life, and a great education. She wears a bright smile that can warm everyone's heart. Her kind personality can put people in a great mood. Drew Davis is rude, irritable, moody, and he never smiles. He takes his bad anger out on people and he does not believe in the idea of love. He believes that love is stupid and relationships suck. "You either break up or get married." Is what he says about relationships. What he does love is, music. Music is what warms his soul and keeps him calm.He has a dark past that not even his best friends know about. Emma van der Woodsen is the sister of Drew Davis' best friend, Eric van der Woodsen, but Emma and Drew don't acknowledge each other's existence nor do they bother to steal glances at one another. They are strangers. The things that they both have in common is that: They are both independent, they both go to the same University, share a few classes together, have passion for music, and they both have scars that holds in untold stories. What happens when one minor car accident changes everything?

I chuckled slightly and shook my head. "Does that usually work for you? The cute little remarks and that nice smile." I teased. He gave me a sheepish look of surprise. "Most girls would be flattered at my attempt to flirt with them." I scoffed and shook my head. "Well, as a member of the "most girls" community, I can say that I am not." "Wow. That's a bit harsh." He gave me a smug look and crossed his arms. "Sorry," I shrugged. "I'm immune to boy charms. In fact, I think I'm allergic." "Well, don't think so highly of yourself. Just because you have cute dimples and a pretty face, doesn't mean I find you attractive." ------------------------------ Maya Cameron is a senior at Ohio State University and this is the year where you need to get your life together before you get pushed out into the real world. Writing is the only thing that keeps her sane after all of the trauma she's been though. With her mom and dad's unfortunate death, she's been left under the care of her evil step-aunt and forced to stay with her annoying step-cousin. As if college isn't stressful enough. And then there's this other guy in her life. They met online by accident and have been talking for months but she's not brave enough to make it something real. Will Ashby is the all-around superstar on campus. He's practically royalty because he's the running back on the Ohio State Football team: one of the best college football teams in America. Will is the person guys want to be and guy girls want to be with. But in actuality, he'd rather blend in with the background noise. His only focus has been football and finishing his degree. That was until he met this girl. He doesn't even know her name or what she looks like, but she's the girl he'd want to be real with. Because of circumstances, Will needs an English tutor or he won't be able to play. And much to her dismay, Maya is the perfect person for the job. Started: January 2021 Completed: October 2021
