It's 1790. Sweden and Russia have been at war for 2 years and while it is not the longest war ever, the costs are getting higher and higher every month. The two great nations have finally agreed upon ending the war, with the union of their crown prince and princess.
Nikolai Romanov has just arrived in Stockholm to meet his bride, after his father agreed for it to take place in the princess's home land. When he meets the cold princess, Gala Adolphus, she is less than thrilled about her fate. As the date of the wedding draws near, the two still haven't gotten used to each other. Can they push their differences aside for the sake of their kingdoms, or will the alliance fall apart like unions of the past?
