In a garden with my yellow flowers is my happy place. With my mama and the sun on my face. That was a while ago. I miss my yellow flowers and my mama but now I am an adult trying to live through today and all my challenges I go through. - - "I am strong." I tell myself as I look into the mirror, it's been some time without her and I feel like I am drowning in my own tears at times. Why does life want to knock me down as soon as I get up? - - Sitting in an office can seem monotonous at times. I went into journalism because I wanted and adventure but I am now sitting at my desk editing other people's adventures. "I've only been here a couple of months" I remind myself in my own thoughts. I look up for a minute and he walks past my desk, looking at me with his fierce blue eyes. Ever since I've been here he has looked at me like he is on the prowl for his next meal. He looks at me with such deep intensity. Even though my position in this office is below him, he is my boss. Trevor Williams or I should say Mr. Williams. He is around 25, handsome in every aspect and the 5th richest man in the world. - - I look down at my phone to check the time while I enter the subway station, 8:15. "I can't believe I over slept." I mumble to myself as I rush to get on the subway. The ride was short and I run out of the subway when I feel a harsh stop, I bumped into a complete stranger and fell straight on my butt. The stranger helps me up and I meet a pair of deep eyes that look like pools of honey. As I look the stranger up and down I notice he is well built and has brown messy hair. "Are you okay?" He asks with a tiny smirk (he definitely knows I was checking him out) "yeah I'm ok. Just late for work." I let out a little chuckle and head off to leave. But a hand wraps around my arm "whats your name?" The stranger asks. With a gentle smile I reply "Elizabeth."All Rights Reserved
