Romance
"He lived like a dead tree in a graveyard." "A Storm On The Mountain" is nominally about Aanav, a young boy who flees the portrait of a family and finds refuge on a hill where he befriends a shepherd who wears goat-skin-trousers. Still, his chaotic childhood becomes a haunting figure that reflects the silence of his present. Profoundly delicate with arresting imagery, the story narrates a broken heart, who brings these shattered pieces onto a hill and tries to make a very unperfect mended heart. *NOTE: THIS STORY HAS TWO PARTS IN ONE BOOK* In the werewolf fables told to their children, was a story--- a legend--- of a ruler--- a leader--- who would be born as the peace maker for their species. This leader would be the answer to a broken road, a 'Chosen One' who would provide a better future. Though it is a fable, just merely a story for bedtime to werewolf children, there was faith in it. There was hope such a legendary hero would be born and save them. And then the time had come, when a child---a boy---was born at Twilight--- the hour of the Moon Goddess--- and bore the marking of the Deity, sealing his fate; and everything---and everyone--- that twines with it. ***WARNING: MATURE CONTENT*** This has two parts and I decided to keep it all in one book instead of breaking it up in two. Honorable Mentions: FEB 2018: FIRST PLACE WINNER FOR @UNDISCOVEREDWOLVES BOOK OF THE YEAR (20K - 50K)
