When a boy wakes up from a coma and finds a letter at his side, he finds out he's the newest player in a game they call Vanguard.

The last thing 05 remembers is crashing his spaceship. When he wakes up, he finds himself in a hospital room on a strange place called Earth with a mind of memories that aren't his. 

A letter informs him that he's in the body of a murdered boy and that he's now part of a survival game. Soon, 05, now Red Harris, is dragged away to start his new life---in a steel maze known only as Vanguard. 

Amidst traps and death, Red meets Alisa, Lennox, Cheng Xin, and Becca. He finds out they're in the same situation as him---all players of the game, specially handpicked by a strange force they call 'the government'. They decide to work together to escape Vanguard and make it out alive.

Myla and Jeremiah are now in their late 30's to 40's along with the other OG characters. Their younger kids, Jordan is now 17, Marco 15, and Baby Toni is now 5. They also had a new baby and yes it was a boy and his name is Sincere Florida Evans who is two years old. Obviously they wanted the name to remind them of Miami, their passed away son. Myla and the rest of the family are very more secluded from everything and living in peace. No drugs, no gangs, no shootings they are finally at ease. Can't say the same for Arie and Akira as they continue to meet and also deal with people who are very much involved in those things. Unfortunately this is the last book of this series but it will be worthy of a last book, Make sure you read the first book before you come here. Have fun readinggg ❤️‼️
