Ⓜ In what Sonic Universe would Infinite the Jackal and Shadow the Hedgehog EVER be friends? Following his defeat in Sonic Forces, Infinite uses the last of his powers to flee to another dimension. Having no control over his landing point, he unintentionally teleports to the Space Colony ARK, where he meets an alternate version of Shadow the Hedgehog. Surprisingly, the Ultimate Life Form takes a visceral liking to the misunderstood jackal. A tragedy in an alternate timeline has lead Sonic and Shadow to travel back in time at the expense of having to never met. Far from how the usual reality could've portrayed it, a reality where Dr. Eggman has stopped his evil schemes and the need for heroes is no longer necessary came into fruition. While the new beginning seemed utopian for humanity, a loophole from the former sacrifice has yet to reveal itself as the chaos they once harnessed continues to grow within themselves. --- "So Long Goodnight Book II" - new readers need not to read Book I in order to understand the story of "Defiance (SLG Book II)." --- All canon characters belong to SEGA. I am the most beautiful of mountains I am the soothing of waves I am the master of pleasures I am the brightest of days~ Infinite the Jackal is a mercinary working for the evil genius master mind, Dr. Ivo Robotnik. Who had recently been defeated against Sonic and his crew. As well as the resistance's new rookie, (Y/n). After this however, Sonic and his original crew were insulting the jackal. (Y/n) didn't like this because of her extreme kindness and small crush on the scary Jackal. She stood up for him and in the end she quit the resistance. Causing Sonic to go into a regrettful frenzy and even asked for Eggman to help get her back. In the meantime, (Y/n) was making friends with the Jackal herself.
