Once upon a time, in a faraway land- well, actually near the faraway land of fantasy of which we know much about- there lay a small country named Rihaaya. It was small in terms of its geographical borders but its population was vast and ever increasing, with the agricultural production (for that was the main means of livelihood) flourishing and growing leaps and bounds. 

It was not a young Land- it had lasted centuries upon centuries, and was ruled by a caring and clever Queen and her kind and benevolent King- but, due to some international worry, it needed the protection of a larger and stronger land. 

Naturally, the most reasonable thought to secure this protection the King and Queen had was that of a marriage alliance- for, that would guarantee protection and security for years and hopefully generations to follow.

And they were most pleased once they received word from the High King of Narnia- who had seen the advantages of marrying into a bountiful Queendom that had an abundance of grains and natural resources- that they were willing to accept the alliance and union.

Really, there were only two opposers to this idea. 
The bride and the groom.

She nodded before leaning down to Ash to whisper in her ear, "My father told me stories from the war, of course not the stories with too much fighting, but he mentioned the greatness of the prophesied. You were always my favorite." She giggles. Ash didn't know what to say as the little centaur bounced away. She stood from the party, needing a minute outside. Edmund followed her after her, wanting to help his dear friend with the news. "Ash, I'm sure there's an explanation." "Yes, a simple one Ed. I left. Your brother owes me nothing. It is his choice. If he wants every spoiled, perfect, primitive, self-centered princess within a hundred miles lining up at his feet. That is his choice and does not concern me."
