|ONC LONGLISTER| Chameleon Jones is never the same person twice; a mastery of disguise comes in handy for the day job - conning the miserable. Chameleon has been able to see people's sorrow all her life, and sad people make easy victims.

She just wishes she wasn't one of them.

Chameleon is unmatched in her field, but is starting to wonder whether that's all she'll ever have; a clutch of false identities, a thick criminal file, and a short-tempered werewolf for company. Then she meets Lilac Hart, a woman with unique gifts of her own who seems to pop up wherever Chameleon goes. She may well have met her match, and in doing so stumbled upon the colour she likes best.

But it's hard to leave a whole life behind, and the ghosts of all the people she's been before aren't eager to let her go.

Their unlikely friendship forges the way into a world that until now, she only thought existed in fairy-tales. An apparition of a beautifully androgynous woman leaves her with more questions than answers on the legitimacy of her sanity and the security of her heart. While her uncle leaves behind secrets that make her ask one question: who was she? With a target on her head, Atrium struggles to protect herself and come to terms with the new world they have thrust her into. The Five Cursed Witches: Volume 4 - Mirai, the Witch of Sight by High_Priestess_Elena
83 parts Ongoing Mature
Mirai comes from a long line of witches who have been particularly gifted in using their inner sight. As such, she's trained her sight from a young age. She's always been a disappointment, however, as the only thing she's ever been able to see is the vague image of a girl. On her 18th birthday, Mirai discovers a mark on the back of her neck displaying the number thirty. From her first proper vision, she deduces that unless she finds the girl before the number reaches zero, both of them will die. Only being able to depend on her less than mediocre skills in seeing the future, Mirai sets out to find the girl before the time is up. Little does she know of the trauma the girl has suffered, nor that finding her is only the beginning. ---------- Mature rating due to: smut, violence, suicide (happens in the prologue while POV-character has her back turned), rape (happens in chapter 30 and will be mentions of it afterwards, fade to black, there will NOT be a trigger warning at the beginning of the specific chapter), violent death of babies, some rather bloody scenes, self-harm, extreme guilt. Note that a major part of this story focus on healing from and learning to live with trauma, so though you could potentially read it but skip some specific parts, if you're not comfortable reading something that deals with the listed topics, then this book won't be for you. ---------- This series will contain the following volumes: Volume 1 - Zoe, the witch of innocence (completed) Volume 2 - Crimson, the witch of night (completed) Volume 3 - Morana, the witch of life (completed) Volume 4 - Mirai, the witch of sight (ongoing) Volume 5 - Danae, the witch of light Volume 6 - Rheseis, the faerie of love

Marmalade's Love Potion

56 parts Complete

In the final days of autumn, a young princess climbs her favourite tree clutching a folded star of paper to her aching heart. Contained within its crisp lines are recountings of her dreams and darings... and a plea that she might, at last, be welcomed home. With a kiss for luck, she tosses her star to the southbound winds, and stumbles her way to a crumbling cottage in the deep woods. Years pass and the constellations spin, her pleas have gone unanswered. The princess grows, and her uncertainties are buried beneath the gentle earth of spurned hopes. It is now, when she has almost forgotten how to wish on morning stars, that an invitation of smoke and dream light arrives, carried on horseback by soldiers of a different kingdom; the Dark Moon Ball might prove her salvation. She does not yet know that love is an exquisite, wretched thing and that wishes are fickle as wisp light. She does not yet know that paths of magic have their own sense of poetry, and walking them presses footprints into the deepest sands of self, remaining even as the stars and seasons turn. She does not yet know that home is where you keep your north star.
