"The children almost broken by the world become the adults most likely to change it."
- Frank Warren
Kassandra Fallon Khan: 16-year-old daughter of the infamous shapeshifter Shere Khan and his bumbling yet seductive sidekick, Kaa; inhabitant of the Isle of the Lost, Leftover, and Forgotten; mother to 3-year-old Gabrielle-Rose Kathrine Khan-the list goes on.
Life for Kassandra (better known as Kass) is anything but perfect. A prisoner on the Isle for her entire life, Kass has grown used to the hazardous wasteland that she calls home with no intention of leaving. However, after falling pregnant at the young age of 12 and giving birth to her brilliant, beautiful daughter, Kass can't help but wonder what life would be like had she been born in Auradon, the land of the heroes (if you can call them that). More importantly, if her sweet angel of a child was able to live the life she deserved in the land across the sea.
This dream life seemed to be only that: a dream, a fantasy, a distant wish not even in the realm of possibility. Until, that is, a certain soon-to-be-king gives Kass, Gabby, and four other villain kids a shot at a normal life.
Will this group of teenagers follow their parents' lead in being the baddest of them all? Will Kass find friends, family, and maybe even love in this strange, new world? Will Gabby get to live like the fairytale princess she always hoped to be?
All will be answered, if only you begin the journey!
When Ben made the proclamation to give the new generation a chance, he expected resistance. He expected bad mannered teens who struggled to fit in. He expected it to be hard. But he was not prepared for what he got.
No one in Auradon knew the true struggles of the Isle of the Lost. Or they didn't care. What did they expect when they locked up all the world's worst murderers and thieves together on an island?
It wasn't the kind of place for children, but then again, what did they care? The children of villains were bound to be messed up as it was. What's a little more trauma?
A darker, crueler take on the Disney movie "Descendants". How do you fix four broken teenagers in a week?
