I'm going to finish the fanfiction I made of Apple Jack and Sombra it's not going to go along with the show due to it having been written shortly after the battle with Sombra so please just consider it an alternate universe to the cannon show.   
A year after Sombra's first attack he has in a sense put himself back together and lays hiding in the catacombs of the Chrystal Palace, he has been planning his next move when a storm brings him a new companion and a new path to follow.
