Niccolò Paganini, one of the greatest violinists to ever live. He composed many pieces, including 5 full violin concertos, 24 caprices, and numerous other pieces for solo guitar and violin. His repertoire is very common nowadays with violinists as he is considered to be the ultimate challenge. Much like the attitudes that pianists face when playing Liszt. Paganini is truly a wonder of the classical world, and a dedication to him is necessary.

The Perks of Being a Musician
Have you ever stuffed up a solo at a concert? Been told you've been playing your instrument wrong despite the fact you've been playing it for eight years? Had a conductor yell in your face because it was meant to be a C SHARP? Talked to your fellow musical geniuses about an instrument you play and then realised they have no idea what a flugelhorn is? I could go on forever. After all, it is a rant book. But that's not the point. Be prepared to laugh the rosin off your bow with some pretty relatable rants about how life as a musician isn't necessarily all smooth gliding. Possibly literally for string players.
