Sol is contracted to an investigation and security department known simply as "Outcasts" to all outsiders whether it be other departments or the general public whisper about them in secret. 

As soon as he is first deployed he is sent to a battlefield that was supposedly a fight between gangs, but Sol knew the difference between weapons used by gangs and those used by soldiers...

This investigation might go deeper than the Outcasts first thought, and if they're not careful it might just be the end of them...

They have real weapons that they control. They are usually rude and selfish. They like to keep to themselves. Elf- 700 year old, very few are elves. They have no wings but they have mechanical wings. They are usually short and controlled by the council. They have different weapons to protect themselves. They are very smart and can think very quickly. They usually keep to themselves, it is very rare to see them outside of their world. Robot- 900 years old, the fallen souls are robots, they cannot think of themselves, they are controlled by the council. The council tells them what to do. They have no wings or weapons. I'm an artist with words, not book covers... Android Captain Lancieta Steegle, and an engineer from Earth named Mannie end up relying on each other for more than survival when a war is thrust onto the people of Earth. In a desperate attempt to deal some kind of blow to the Halgred, the Andromedian collective okayed a Shadow Operation to attack the Halgred Homeworld. The weapon was illegal, a bio-weapon designed to sterilize and weaken their almost otherworldly physiology. When this weapon is instead redirected to Earth by the Halgred King, Draconisis, those whom survive undergo a change. As they wake up, the people of Earth are greeted by horror of their new animalistic physiology, and for some, unimaginable abilities. The 20 or so surviving Androids of the once thousands-strong crew of the Dreadnought-Class battleship do their best to make amends and help the humans of Earth adjust to their new Bestial Planet and the even more dangerous intergalactic community. This story is "Complete" as in the last chapter was written and it's gone through about 3 re-writes and 4 rounds of editing since. Very few stories are ever finished, as we know, because there's always something we think can be or should be changed. However, I've learned that the best I can do is get it to the point where I feel comfortable with someone else reading it. Otherwise I'd never have posted anything anywhere.
