He stays away from his kind, if he does so then he won't mate. If he doesn't mate, he'll never have to watch his family die before his eyes again. Or be the reason for it. Or he thinks so until Kasni walks into his life. Kasni proves a difficult temptation for Cole that he tries to ignore. Especially when she hits heat and sets off his own drive to mate. Kasni on the other hand is intrigued by Cole, he's different than the other shifters she's met. To her he is the mate she never thought she'd find. She sees no reason to not befriend him nor offer more. The question is will he take it or will he run?
