After the whole ' Upside Down' experience, William is forced out of his Hawkins home and into his homophobic father, Lonnie's household. It tears the party apart both emotionally and physically that their cleric, Will the Wise is gone; more to the paladin that to the zoomer, the mage, the ranger, and the bard combined.

Determined to get him back; as well as bring the party back together, Micheal Wheeler packs a bag and runs off to find Will, bringing with him nothing but a walkie-talkie, some batteries, a flashlight, some food, and a sleeping bag.

No matter the cost; Mike will find Will, He will make the party whole once more...
He will get his best friend back...
