Middle school, the start of adolescence. It's when we tend to start thinking about who we are, who we'll be, and who we were. Virgil Wills is no exception to that, having recently sorted that he didn't feel attraction to girls. Instead, he found himself infatuated with a boy in his class, Roman Pennypacker, the resident theatre kid and the school's own Prince Charming.
This story is a fictional slice of life novel-to-be, and follows the story of trans male, teenage Virgil Wills, navigating middle school.
This is a fanwork utilising the characters from Sanders Sides, a web series by Thomas Sanders, which can be found on YouTube.

The Demon and the Child
*Completed* Virgil doesn't know it, but he's the son of Lucifer. After his caring mother is killed in a horrible car crash that should have killed Virgil as well, his father realizes that Heavens angels are trying to send Virgil back to Hell despite him not doing anything bad. Virgil is sent to his Uncle Patton's place to live and goes to a new school. There he meets an annoying kid who somehow befriends him, but little does he know the kid was sent by his father to protect him. The religious parts of this story is based loosely (very loosely) around christianity. Pairings will be prinxiety, logicality, and demus, if it's not your jam that's fine you don't need to read. There will be trigger warnings at the beginning of every chapter that will include cursing, death and blood. Through the reveal of Remus, things between the sides have changed. Logan's advice to Thomas has been taken up by Virgil, talking to Patton and learning to grow as a side. All seemed to be going smoothly until Remus tells Roman something not so true ,and with a new dilemma facing Thomas, the sides are busting out the seems of their foundation to try and keep things together. But with a fallout between the repressed and furious feelings eating away at Virgil and Roman, a past that had never seen the light of day, and the wrath of the dark sides ready to break all that was built, the sides have to figure out a way to save all that they have. - #3 on #sanderssides 10-15-19 - I recently got into Sanders Sides and I needed to write a story with Virgil's past ASAP, I hope you enjoy it!Complete
