This is story of Kassie (Cas-E) Gilbert. 

The twin sister to Jeremy Gilbert. She's the youngest of her siblings, being seventeen but fourteen minutes younger than Jeremy, while Elena is eightteen.

Kassie is constantly in her sisters shadow. Even after their parents death, no one really spoke to Kassie. 

Elena was grieving by isolating herself from everyone and everything. Jeremy turned to drugs, but he attempted to keep a good relationship with his sisters. 

Elena continued to cut herself off from everyone, but Kassie greatly enjoyed her brother's company. They grew closer after the death of their parents. 

After Elena finally started to open up again, Kassie grew close with her older sister once more. The relationship between Elena and Jeremy never really came back to full affect. Jeremy hates to be pushed away, and that's all Elena did. 

School is starting up soon, it's been about five months or so, since the death of their parents. The sympathy everyone had for then has worn off. 

They must all now go back into cruel, unforgiving world, and face things they would have never imagined before now.
