"Hi" a voice whispered from behind me.

I stayed silent and just started walking back towards my room, not wanting to get in trouble.

"Hello" the voice said again sounding more confident.

Not wanting to be rude I slowly turned around. Not expecting what I saw.

Together they are determined to get away from this life behind invisible bars and to see what lies beyond.

This tale tugs a few heart strings and has some bizarre moments. Please let me know what you think as this is the first story I've ever written/shared/finished and would love to hear some opinions!
