Arakhne wants to be left alone in her floating palace and make dresses but most importantly, hide from Athena, whom she humiliated all those years ago. The daughters of God, triplets Soledad, Luna, and Estelle, need gowns for their coronation as the Queens of Heaven, Hell, and Purgatory - and Arakhne is the only one who can take on the task. The four of them come to a mutually beneficial agreement - but none of them are too happy about it.

Open Novella Contest Prompt #31: "A seamstress is tasked with creating three dresses: one made from sunshine, one from moonlight, and another made from stardust."

In a land where myths collide and mortals walk the line between gods and monsters, Aleesia and Ajita are bound by destiny and torn by choice. As heirs to a legacy of forgotten power, the sisters must navigate a treacherous path through the labyrinth of their fates, unraveling the secrets of a realm where Nordic and Greek mythologies entwine. Deceit lurks behind every throne, and the gods' games demand a price. Betrayals cut deep, love is fragile, and the trials of ascension could either shatter their spirits or awaken the divine within them. In a race against time, Aleesia and Ajita must decide: will they become pawns in the gods' eternal war, or will they rise as queens of their own making? Fates and Thrones is a tale of courage, sisterhood, and sacrifice, set in a richly woven world where destiny is a force to be defied and the ascent to power is as perilous as the fall. ❝My two daughters require dresses from pure sunshine and moonlight. For myself, nothing less than stardust will do.❞ In a world much unlike our own, the Crown Prince and his Father, the King, organise a ball for all eligible maidens in order to help find him his future Queen. But they aren't looking for bloodline, nor status, nor wealth, no - only the girl with the finest dress will be wed to him. ❝Extended family may be branded the villains - but sometimes they can be the heroes, too.❞ [ Novella approx 22k words.
