Set in future Unites States in the city of Richmond, the laws have changed. 17 years prior, the very controlling government changed its laws to where no talking or written forms of communication are allowed. Only certain official figures within each city are permitted to talk, there is even no talking within the school environment.
Natalie Daniels, an 18 year old student, hates these laws. She thinks there is something the government is hiding from her and the rest of the citizens. She is somewhat of a rebel; she has hidden journals where she writes her thoughts and she joins a society to rebel. Natalie Daniels is anything but a law-abiding citizen.
With romance, action, and adventure, will Natalie succeed and find her own voice?

Evelyn Sheer and the researchers are trying to create a genetic modification that enables humans to photosynthesize. Once in the facility, Evita is tagged as a test subject and loses all say over what happens to her body. She has to escape. By the time she comes up with a plan there is only one problem. While America seems to be running perfectly under these laws, a rebellion is stirring among the professionals. With secrets and lies in government and families alike to change the future of America forever, Cassidy finds herself caught up in the middle of the all out war that is about to break out. What she thought she knew about her world is about to change forever, bringing everyone she knows down with her. DISCLAIMER 2016/2017: This book is a few years old at this point, and due to the political uproar in American in 2016 I feel the need to make this abundantly clear. Outcasts takes place in a dystopian world in an undetermined year in the future, and the political parties depicted in this story - the Republicans and the Democrats - are in no way, shape or form a commentary on their real-life counterparts. I had very little knowledge of American politics when I wrote this story, and if I could go back and change their names I would. Throughout the story you will read of absurd flaws in both party agendas, and in no way did I ever intend to shame or defame the real life Republican and Democratic parties of America. See them as purely fictitious - that's what they are, after all.Complete
