After her search for her real parents, Amber Wilson realized that her life with her adopted parents is not good. Fighting with her adoptive parents, her friends feeling betrayed and mad, and not to mention rejecting Nathan Wright is not what Amber imagined her junior year to end up like.

Instead of facing her problems, Amber runs from them. She deciedes to move from her old life in Seattle, to a new life in New York with her father.
