Santa, Bernard, and Curtis are shocked to see that the list has chosen a child to be a new honorary elf at the North Pole. Meanwhile, the Spirit of Halloween tries to become a legendary figure but is refused since people don't know who he is, and a new villain threatens not only Santa and the elves but the North Pole and Christmas itself. Krampus has come for vengeance on the elves for betraying him.
I've spent a long time writing this and I hope you all like it. This takes place just before the Santa Clause 2.

this short story is kind of an alternate ending to the story "Krampus: the Yule lord" by author Gerald Brom. so if you have not read that story first, you will be confused by this. I recommend reading that story first. Don't get me wrong, this story is very good, but just felt kind of salty of how the story ended.
