I wrote most of these on lonely evenings during difficult times in my life. I've cheered up since, somewhat at least, but still take joy in the prose that only an aching heart can conjure.
To those that will read this and some of the other pieces I'm going to post - It's okay to be sad sometimes and it's even better to accept the pain and endure it and come out the other side a stronger, wiser you.
So even if you feel like driftwood sometimes, simply meandering along life's currents, without purpose or in pain, just know that you are not alone and it will all work out in the end.

Release
This is a collection of my writing from the past 7 years. Before I started to write, I was a very lost individual, as are most teens, but I was lost in darkness. I was too afraid to move anywhere at all. I hid in the dark, debilitated by my own anxiety, sadnesses, anger, and hopelessness. I was desperate to be loved and feared it the most, I was a coward, I was self-destructive, I would mentally bend my thoughts to the point of bordering insanity. I was born into this world alone, and got too comfortable with it. Maybe I still am, but a fraction of what I used to be. This writing is extremely vulnerable, and potentially disturbing to others, as all my weaknesses, strengths, obsessions with making every moment sentimental, the sickening desperation I've had, the destructiveness, and the constant brutal reconstruction of my mind. Without guidance, it's been absolute intense chaos. Though, there is beauty in the darkness. Everything can be found in the darkness. You'll find that through my writing, I've somehow slowly become exactly what I've written. A living representation of my writing and what I wanted to be. Without myself even knowing it. A lot of my writing themes are based around nature, or some kind of natural aspect. The imagery I paint with natural metaphors is constant, the animals, just like you and I, the plants, and all other living things. I planted these seeds in my mind, unknowingly at the time, where I now feel the deep dark green jungle pressing at the inner walls of my skull. It's all that I want to consume my mind. There's so much to learn. The magic of nature, and it's infinite wisdom. It's as if I have been on this path all along, and I didn't even know what I was doing, yet my body and mind were passively taking care of me. Giving me and eventually showing exactly what I want, and wanted to become. I have every moment, every instance of suffering, and every epiphany to be thankful for. As of 2022, I found myself back here again, and in dire need of somewhere to write, and somewhere to share it. Poems from the heart that encase the emotions of an anxious, panic ridden fifteen year old girl who doesn't really have any experience with real love or heartbreak, but thinks she does. What I've learned from my "experiences" is that we get from a situation what we give to a situation. Even though, yeah, it's fucking hard sometimes to try and get over something or someone, we have to get over it at some point, or else what would be the point of waking in the morning and sleep in the night? There would be no point in anything. So try and beat what you thought was impossible to beat, fight what you thought was impossible to fight, and conquer the sickness you feel inside.Completa

A Collection of Poems
These poems are just some of the little pieces that make up my life. Whenever I get inspired by someone or something, I write a little story about it in the form of a poem. In a way, it helps me express what I have in my mind in a very vague way. I'm not that kind of a direct person, but there are things that are sometimes, better to kept secret. Here, these poems are what I wanted to say to my friends, to other important people, to people in general, to the world around me, to life and each detail it possesses. Each poem has a central theme, and around that revolves a certain story that I want to impart, something too delicate to be expressed directly, something too complicated.
