Meet Me in the Afterglow (Purinz/Chaewon x Yunjin)
It's been five years since they broke up. Since she broke up with Chaewon, as Yunjin likes to remind herself on her more self-flagellating of days. Chaewon probably doesn't even think about her anymore, because that's what you do when someone breaks your heart; you forget about them, and you move on with your life.
It's been five years since Chaewon, and there have been other people since. She's been on dates and had girlfriends and tried out the whole casual thing with Yuri for a while until she met Yena and put a stop to that. Yunjin doesn't delude herself into thinking that Chaewon won't have done the same. Chaewon will have moved on, will have rebuilt her life after Yunjin tore it down. Yunjin is hardly irreplaceable. She's nothing special.
It's been five years, which is long enough that it shouldn't still hurt like this, and Yunjin shouldn't still feel so empty inside whenever she thinks about it. But it does, and she does.
(or; when Yunjin is twenty-one, she falls in love with Chaewon. When she's twenty-eight, she does it again.)
