When Firstborn was leaving Ninjago, She created 6 stones, filled with the primal power source of the First Elemental dragons in the first realm.
These stones were given to the Ninja, to aid them in the battle against the oni.
Will the ninja learn to control these powers or will they become corrupted? what will happen?

A Ninjago Fanfic A story of a family grown apart, old secrets coming to light, and a power and danger that comes with it. In light of their recent, yet still epic, victory, the ninjas have taken up teaching at Sensei Wu's academy as a sort of retirement from fighting. Lloyd, on the other hand, has been visiting the entire land of Ninjago, on a sort of a victory run so it's just been Misako, Garmadon, and their daughter Thorn. Thorn is a sharp-witted, gothic, and a pessimistic young lady who for the largest part of her life been left alone by her family but now their family is able to be together again, for better or for worse. Her time away has made her disconnected from her family and their traditions and lifestyle, forging her own path in the world rather they like it or not. A whole year has passed after Nya's sacrifice. (This takes place after crystalized) (I count Uncharted as a season so that's why it's 17) When the ninja defeat the Overlord along with help from all of Ninjago, they are finally at peace. As they help to clean up the mess, they hear of rumors, saying that there is a new darkness from the Dark Island that they have not been to in years. They decide to go alone, without Master Wu, P.I.X.A.L, or anyone. When they get there, they soon realize that it was more serious than they thought. The island was blocked off, and as the ninja realized that they were going to have to fight harder than ever before when they meet the princess, daughter of the Overlord. She and her army steal the ninja's powers and lock them up. The ninja try to escape, but have bigger issues when Lloyd's oni form starts to hurt his health. Can the ninja save Lloyd, get out of the palace to stop the princess, all on their own, without their powers?

The ninjas will have to face an opponent with a powerful artifact that could compete with the powers of the elements themselves. Taking the easy way out is not an option, plus the ninjas did not know who their enemy was. Who will the enemy turn out to be? Will Lloyd control himself? Will Lloyd discover the truth about several things? Will the ninja manage to help Lloyd? Is the opponent capable of doing anything for his goal or does he have some kind of moral code? 3.
