For Jay Matthews his path in life is clear: First college, then becoming a movie director and making a movie that means a lot to a lot of people - the only way for someone as ordinary as him to make something magical in a world filled to the brim with it. But life doesn't follow his script, and so he finds himself drawn into a friend's supernatural family drama, facing a necromancer and dealing with his latent magical powers, all before the great plan has even a chance of beginning - and maybe ending it before it ever can.
For Taiki Nakamura life has been everything but easy. But with his mother in the hospital again and his best friend, Jay, running away from home, he decides that enough is enough. But taking his life into his own hands and following the shadows of the supernatural into a world he doesn't know will bring him things he didn't bargain for, with a pricetag he might not be willing to pay.

And Then, The World Ended
Noah Kai, freshly graduated from the Academy, leaves behind the sun-scorched sprawl of Los Angeles Nexus for the neon-lit, dystopian chaos of New York District. The district, a towering jungle of steel and glass, is a far cry from the world he once knew-fast-paced, corrupt, and buzzing with an undercurrent of danger. He's hungry for a fresh start, a chance to prove himself in the cutthroat metropolis, and maybe even stumble upon the kind of connection he's only dreamed of. Little does he know, that connection is closer than he ever expected-embodied in his new, enigmatic best friend, Liam Hayes. Liam Hayes is everything Noah isn't: a slick-talking, street-savvy hacker with charm to burn and a reputation that's anything but clean. He moves through the underground with ease, while Noah struggles to keep up. Despite their differences, an instant bond forms between them-a friendship laced with late-night chases through the underbelly of the district and dangerous, unspoken feelings that Noah desperately tries to suppress. After all, Liam's got a bad-boy rep and an eye for women, right? But when the two set off on a high-stakes mission to the tech-mecca of Neo-Tokyo, the city's pulsating streets, secret sanctuaries, and buried technologies spark something deeper. Noah feels the tension growing between them, but Neo-Tokyo isn't just offering a chance at love-it's harboring threats more dangerous than either of them could have imagined. Bloom in the wake of Ruin ⚣ ✔️
"Excuse me, sir. I think you may have dropped these?" It was the voice I noticed first. Smooth, a little amused, and low enough to draw me out of myself. Then I saw him. Dirty blonde hair that looked like waves crashing down the sides of his face, and freckles like splattered paint across his fair skin. A silver hoop in his nose, another in his brow, both catching the light. And those eyes... electric blue, staring into my green ones with intensity. - After a heartbreaking loss, Killian has spent two years shielding himself from love, or any human contact really-convinced that no one could ever replace the person he lost. Finn, on the other hand, is caught in the throes of a toxic relationship, knowing he's not getting what he deserves but is too scared to walk away. When their paths cross, the spark is undeniable, but both are hesitant, scared of getting too close. Killian fears the pain of loving and losing again, while Finn's relationship has made him lose hope all together-almost. Will they let their pasts define them, or can they find the courage to bloom together in the wake of their ruins?Complete
Mr. Match (BoyxBoy) ✓
I'm Finn Vasco but that's not quite important right now. I'm a pretty sarcastic guy if I'm gonna be honest. I'm closed off and I literally only have one friend. I might hate everybody in my school... but there's this guy there. He's... let's say, dreamy, someone who I thought would never even acknowledge my existence. That guy who was too damn good to be true, who was too good for me, who was too good for... everybody! You get what I'm trying to say. He's that cliché king of the campus and a popular and attractive heartthrob and with just one wink, he can send people on their knees... That sounded so wrong, anyway. So can you blame me for being over the moon when one day, he approached me only to what? ...To ask for my help courting my freaking best friend. I knew it was stupid for me to hope I'd even have any chance with him anyway. So I just agreed to help him. Even if I was hurting myself and potentially my best friend in the process, my best friend who has been there with me through the thick and thins, I still did it... I mean what could go wrong besides literally everything? So my plan was to just set my crush and my best friend up, and then everything would be alright... right? But of course, life doesn't like it when people have it easy. *** Highest Ranking #2 on #lgbtfiction #5 on #boyxboy #6 on #gay #8 on #teenfiction *** ~ WARNING: This story contains strong language and bullying. Scholar
[COMPLETED] [Warning: Strong language used throughout the book.] He put his hand over my notebook and the other over mine. I glared up at him, his golden brown eyes catching my attention. "I can't write like this," I pointed out. "Is this all you care about?" Ryan asked. I shrugged. "Not this specifically, but yeah, I care about my grades." Ryan smirked. I swallowed nervously but refused to break my stoic expression. He leaned closer to me, my heart pounding so hard against my chest it felt like it might break out and fall on the table between us. His mouth was right by my ear, and I could feel his warm breath when he spoke which sent shivers down my spine. "Well, aren't you a little a scholar?" *** The only things Alex Moris ever cared about were his grades and his sister. However, when the boy his sister likes, Ryan Smithe, makes things complicated and causes him to feel things he's never felt before, Alex realizes that, maybe, there's more important things in life than grades and scholarships.
