What happens when a cheerful boy faces the cold hard reality of highschool? Well... It.. It doesn't go quite as he thought it would go in life... And yet.. Someone he idolizes will sooner or later find out what's happening and try to help him out.
This is my first gildedguy fanfic, so I apologize if some parts on the story are rushed or either not developed fully. It's been a while since I've wrote stories and I'm trying to at least get back into the creative place where I can at least have passion for what I'm writing about.
Note, there will be some scenes of self.. Harm on Lilian... This is due to the fact I want to at least help make a story to have specific people relate to the characters very well. I'll try my best to make them relatable as possible!
So yeah! Enjoy while I pour my heart and passion out on this
Edit: Edited the cover and remade it. Figured it'd track more attention to it.
I umm.. I also made the cover myself.. It's not great I know.. But I actually gave it my all.. I really did, and I think it's really really good!

Saving a Hero
((((COMPLETED)))) Percy Jackson is depressed and has succumbed to self destructive ways to release his frustration. Nobody notices a thing until Nico gets wind of his former crush drifting farther and farther away. Percy suddenly has new feelings for someone new, and he gets rejected by someone, but not who he thinks. He gets a quest and has to pick one other person from camp to go with him to rescue a friend. Percy gets cursed along the way and has to make it back to Camp to save a life. This story is about Percy self harming, and Nico helping him, there are mentions of dizziness, the feeling of starving, graphic self harm/injuries, blood, graphic thoughts of a person with depression, and probably something like psychological horror. If any of that makes you uncomfortable, don't read!!! I don't think I'm going to get any backlash for anything but if you comment, I'm probably not going to answer you! To the people who leave nice comments, I do read all of them and it is appreciated! this is my first published work, I just wanted to add something to this cool community and maybe live a little vicariously through the characters. Peace and tranquility. Most all humans wish for a life filled to the brim with it. Giyuu was no exception to that. He, much like any other people, had only ever wanted to live a comfortable life. One without hardship, and one without illness. Most people never thought to wish on the second. Giyuu, however, has suffered dearly due to both physical illness, and mental. He often times found himself wandering around at night, not heading anywhere specific. His mind is awfully foggy at these times, and so he will often feel disoriented in a way; he wasn't thinking about where he was, and nor did he care.. The cover art isn't mine! TW: This story contains strong language, self harm, mentions of self harm, death, gore, mentions of suicide, and suicide itself. Sanemi Shinazugawa and Giyuu Tomioka always seemed to despise eachother. Mostly Sanemi. But, Giyuu always wanted to be friends with the white haired man.
