It's 1978, and 21-year-old Zoe Amoretti is living a simple life in America. She has a passion for music, and enjoys meeting new people and making friends when she has the chance. One day, she meets a young man around her age, who happens to be Ian Curtis, the lead vocalist of a new band, Joy Division. Zoe quickly befriends him, and soon finds out Ian struggles with depression and epilepsy. Zoe becomes determined to help him, and hopefully help him find the light.

Ivy Lanacane, is a famous makeup artist doing various different celebrities makeup. And it was like any other day for her to go wherever she was called to, to do whoever's makeup. But to her surprise she finds out she has to do the band Envy's hair and makeup, and she's almost immediately taken aback by the stunning lead singer Axel Pierce. Someone she's obviously knew of in the industry but never got the pleasure of meeting. Follow these two and everyone else on their journey that goes up and goes down time and time again. This book does contain mature content, there will be a warning before each. So if that's not you're cup of tea you can skip it, no hard feelings. But this is wattpad after all so who doesn't like some mature content? There will also be language, there's no way I can give a warning other than this way. So if language isn't something you like, then you may want to skip out on this one. Over the next few weeks, Irene, while working her shifts, notices that Alexandria is often out during the day. Always the curious one, she follows her young patient one day. She discovers that Alexandria has made a new friend, the young man with the injured spine, whose name, Irene learns, is Roy. A few days later, she is reassigned to work in another ward. Roy's ward. In her new post, she sometimes overhears the stories that he tells Alexandria and is drawn in. Over the course of the next few months, Irene develops a close relationship with her paralysed patient.
